Welcome to our website! We’re the 5th New Forest North (Testwood) Scouts.

We’re here for our local community, providing young people with fun, adventure and skills for life.

We’re not just talking about first aid and putting up a tent. We’re talking about teamwork, leadership, resilience and determination.

We’ve changed. We’re more than woggles, shorts and camping.

Did you know that a quarter of Scouts in the UK are girls? Surprised? Scouting has changed a lot over the past 10 years so discover more about Scouting today at our About Us page, or learn about our history.

Scouting is a character factory.

And we count the adults in that too. It’s really easy to have a go. If you’re under 25 then take a look at one of the youth sections – the first four sections can be found at our headquarters and the final one runs locally in our area.

Scouting though is not just for young people. We wouldn’t run without our lovely adult volunteers and we would always welcome more people joining the movement. It’s super easy to volunteer, to find out more including how it can boost your CV, see our Join page.
