Kick start your Christmas with our festive fun run through the streets of Totton.
Take part in our Santa run around the streets of Totton. You’ll meet new people and get a medal at the end for your troubles. Plus there’s a Christmas Fayre to get lost in at the end of the race.
Race round the streets
Have a blast as you dash round our circular route starting in Library Road, Totton and racing up Salisbury Road and Testwood Lane. We’ll get you warmed up and ready at the start line for the race and be there at the end with your medal.
You can choose between our family friendly 2.5km dash our our longer 5km race for serious Santa’s, with a head start of the pack. This route is ideal for all, whether you’re a running pro who want to race round, or a family looking for a gentle jog to get your started on a Sunday morning. Plus all ages are welcome – we’ve even seen buggies taking part!

Once again, our Christmas Fayre is being held at the finish line in the Empire Hall. It’s a perfect chance to pick up a gift for a friend and win prizes from our raffle and competitions. Plus you’ll be supporting a range of local stall holders and your local Scout group giving young people skills for life. It all kicks off as the race does and finishes around lunch time.

5km Serious Santa
- Adult runners: £16

Those paying through Eventbrite incur a small service charge as detailed on that portal.
Why is there a service charge for using Eventbrite?
By popular request we began to use Eventbrite as an option for booking onto the Totton Santa Run to make it easier for you. Unfortunately there is a small charge to process these payments and as a charity, we are looking to maximise the impact this event can bring to our work with young people.
How do I register and pay?
It is possible to pay and register for the run online through Eventbrite and offline through a paper booking form, cheque by post or paying in cash when collecting suits.

I’ve registered to run. What happens now?
Once you have registered and paid, you will receive a confirmation email with some final details for you. You will need your email to collect your Santa suit and race number in the weeks preceding the run, so it is essential you do not lose or delete the email.
We will be running a number of opportunities to collect your race pack ahead of the event for our runners local to Totton. There will be drop-in sessions based at our Scout HQ in Totton in the weeks leading up to the day (dates to be advertised) and at some local community events. Keep an eye on our social media for dates.
What size are the Santa suits?
There are three sizes of suits, which you can request when completing the registration form. The adult suits are ‘one size fits all’, but by picking them up in advance you will have time to customise.
There are two sizes of junior suits, one suitable for 4-7 years, and the other 8-11 years. These ages are just a guide and not an exact measurement.
There are no suits for the under 3s, mainly because they just won’t fit. However, they will still receive a medal upon crossing the finish line and they still need to be included in the registration.
