About 5th Testwood.
We are the 5th Testwood Scout Group, preparing young people with skills for life since 1962. If you live in Totton, Calmore, Testwood or anywhere around it then we’re for you.
Our location on the border between the New Forest and the city of Southampton mean we can be truly innovative with our programmes. We’ve got loads of choice and all of our sections are really active. We do lots of cool stuff throughout the year, but don’t take our word for it. Jump into the adventure and try it for yourself!
Four sections catering for girls and boys aged between 4 and 18 operate out of our Blackwater Drive headquarters, with the fifth and final section for 18 to 25 year olds operating locally. But none of it would be possible without the support of our dedicated leader team and those who support them.
It’s really easy to join us, all have to do is get in touch.
About Scouts in the UK.
Nationwide, Scouting provides Skills for Life and a sense of belonging for over 450,000 girls and boys between 4 and 25. Scouts make a positive difference in our local, national and international communities. We help young people learn new skills, make new friends, gain confidence and reach their full potential.
Scouts include presidents and prime ministers, explorers and entrepreneurs. They have climbed Mount Everest, stood at the South Pole and walked on the moon. Scouts are teachers and social workers – the people who make society work. We are all united by common values and their promise to help other people.
