On a Wednesday in March, our Beaver colony visited the Solent Sky museum in Southampton as part of their Aviation badge, looking at the different aircraft there, how they have changed over time and seeing first hand how it was like. The visit included a look inside the cockpit of a fighter jet, a helicopter and a tour of the museums largest piece, the seaplane Beachcomber.
All the Beavers were very well behaved all all enjoyed the evening immensely Our thanks go to the guides who took us round after hours and who gave up their free time to give us the museum to ourselves.
