Just a short post to say a massive thank you to all who collected the Sainsbury’s Active Kids vouchers for the group. We managed to collect 247 vouchers.
We knew it would be a challenge: there are few stores nearby, we were late off the starting blocks and we had competition as well. But if there is one thing Scouts and parents thrive on then it is a challenge! So, our order is in and you’ll be seeing the new equipment in use when it arrives in the autumn!
This is certainly something we’ll be doing again next year and we’ll also be getting involved with Tesco’s scheme when it hopefully launches in a few months time!
