St. George’s day parade

Come and spot us proudly on show this Sunday afternoon!

St. George’s Day is special for us as St. George is not only the patron saint of England, but also of Scouting itself.

As a result, every year for as long as we can remember we get everyone in the entire district together for a small service and to parade through the streets of Lyndhurst. So please feel free to come out and support us.

Information for Scouts

We’re meeting at Appletree Court (the offices of the council) and we’ll be walking up the high street. The parade is due to start around 2.40, so we ask that you aim to be at Appletree court for 2.15 in case traffic is bad. Please be in full uniform. If you require a lift, contact your leader as soon as possible.
