Testwood Scouts and the Coronavirus

Following the guidance from the government and the Scouts, we have had to suspend face-to-face meetings for the moment due to the Coronavirus, Covid 19. This includes Chinwaggers and the Antler Club.

That doesn’t have to mean we just stop though. Instead, we are celebrating #TheGreatIndoors and all sections are carrying on with virtual meetings and activities at home.

You can find the details of each section’s plan on their Facebook groups, simply email a leader for more information or [email protected] if you don’t know the right email.

Plus there are lots of activities (over 100) on the Scouts website at the link here. Or why not check out the badges on the website as many of the activity badges can be done at home. The links are below:

For the latest, check these places frequently.

Information about support for Scouts and ideas for resources at national level can be found here and in Hampshire can be found here.

The Government advice on Coronavirus can be found here. If you’re isolating or distancing at home then the advice is here for you.
