Review of Autumn 2012

Hogwarts modelWhat a term it has been and we’ve been on so many different activities in that time.

Firstly, we should start at the really fun day out that the Beavers and Cubs had, and several parents too, to the Harry Potter Studios on 27 October. This look into the behind the scenes world of the movie industry was truly awe inspiring and the scale was breathtaking – walking down Diagon Alley, seeing a huge model of the castle in the closest detail, not to mention the Great Hall, common room and an insiders look into Quidditch! A selection of pictures can be found in the

Paulton's ParkThe Beavers also had a chance to visit Paulton’s Park on 10 November, to say hello to Father Christmas and Chip the Beaver! No day would be complete without some of the best rides in the Park – anyone for a ride on the Edge or the Stinger perhaps? Always a favourite.

However we must mention some other events too. Well Done must go to all of the sections for a good Remembrance Day Parade in Totton on the 11 November. Thanks must also go to all those who turned up to help pack bags at Morrisons, Totton, so that we can raise some funds and carry out some much needed improvement to our hut. A huge thank you to all.
